Jason Delair

President

Jason DeLair is the Vice President of the Fontana Police Officers Association. He is a 26-year veteran of law enforcement and a graduate of the San Bernardino Sheriffs Academy. He spent eight years of service as a San Bernardino Deputy Sheriff prior to joining the Fontana Police Department. Because Jason was born and raised in the City of Fontana, when he joined FPD he was right at home. He has been assigned as a K-9 handler for 8yrs and currently holds the position of Field Training Officer and Department Mentor.

Pat Heusterberg

Vice President

Patrick Heusterberg is the Secretary of the Fontana Police Officers Association. He is a 19-year veteran with the Fontana Police Department.

Prior to joining the Fontana Police Department, Patrick obtained his BS in Business Management from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) and obtained his Master of Public Administration from Cal Baptist University in 2013.

He has been assigned as a K9 Officer, Motor Officer, a Motor training officer and is currently assigned to patrol as a field training officer.

Patrick was born and raised in the Inland Empire and has family ties to law enforcement with five other family members, retired or currently in law enforcement.

In his off-time Patrick enjoys spending time with his family, camping/fishing, going off-roading in his jeep and golfing.

Luis Valenzuela

Secretary

Luis Valenzuela is the Secretary of the Fontana Police Officers Association. He is an 18-year veteran of the Fontana Police Department. He joined the Police Department after serving 4 years of active duty with the United States Army and 8 years with the California National Guard. While a member of the National Guard, Luis earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Luis was hired by the City of Fontana in 2004 and attended the 155th class of the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Academy.

Luis has been assigned to Patrol, the Traffic Unit as a Motor Officer, the Multiple Enforcement Team, the San Bernardino County Auto Theft Taskforce as an investigator, the Investigations Unit and is currently assigned to the Traffic Unit as a supervisor.

This will be Luis’ second appointment to serve as a member of the Fontana Police Officers Association. Luis looks forward to continuing the efforts of his predecessors in establishing and maintaining a strong bond between the members of the association, the residents of Fontana and the community as a whole.

Adam Davis

Treasurer

Detective Davis grew up in the Inland Empire. After graduating from high school he attended California State University San Bernardino where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.

He started his law enforcement career as a civilian employee with the San Bernardino Police Department.

In 2012, he began the San Bernardino Sheriffs Academy. After graduation, he was sworn in as a Fontana police officer. He is very proud to serve the people of Fontana.

He has been assigned to Patrol, Gangs, Field Training Officer, a specialized joint task force headed by the FBI which gathered intelligence on violent gangs, and his current assignment as a Detective.

In his off-duty time he volunteers with the Fontana POA, loves bicycling and running.
